General Superintendent, Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE), Brazil

The General Superintendent has a master's degree in Law at the University of Brasília.

He graduated in International Relations at the same University and in Law at the Brasília University Center - UNICEUB.

He has a postgraduate's degree in Competition Defense by the Getúlio Vargas Foundation - FGV.

He is a Specialist in Public Policies and Governmental Management from the Ministry of Planning.

At CADE, he worked as an Adviser between 2007 and 2011. From 2011 to 2012, he worked as a General Coordinator at the Secretariat for Civil Aviation of the Brazilian Republic Presidency.

He then returned to CADE in May 2012 and served as Deputy Superintendent until June 2014, when he was appointed as CADE's interim General Superintendent.

Since July 2015, he is the General Superintendent. He is also a visiting professor at FGV Law Program.
